A New York-based freelance writer, Gary M. Stern co-authored Minority Rules: Turn Your Ethnicity into a Competitive Edge (HarperCollins) and is currently working on two business books.

Gary Stern has also collaborated on The Trouble with HR: An Insider’s Guide to Finding and Keeping the Right People with Johnny C. Taylor, the president of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Managers,” Amacom Books. It provides an inside look at how HR can help companies identify the best people, find staff that are aligned with a company’s goal, and how HR can serve as a revenue-producer.

From 2018 on, Gary Stern has been writing for a host of publications. He’s been a regular columnist at the Forbes.com’s Food pages, During this time, he’s covered finance for Institutional Investor and RIA Intel, which appeal to a targeted professional audience, written a host of lifestyle and psychological articles for Next Avenue, which targets readers 50-years-and older, and written education articles for a trade magazine.
